To help us develop an effective and workable model for teleaudiology in Australia, we seek input and feedback from hearing sector stakeholders including hearing health care practitioners, professional associations, consumers and hearing services providers.  We welcome feedback from individuals and organisations with an interest in hearing care and/or telehealth.

In response to Phase 1 consultation feedback, we have revised the draft teleaudiology guidelines.

Between November 2021 and March 2022, the guidelines testing phase will:

  • explore whether the revised guidelines are easy to understand and useable
  • understand what supports are needed to implement the guidelines
  • consult with consumer organisations and others about resources to inform and support clients’ use of teleaudiology.

The testing phase will involve interviews, focus groups and a survey.  Results of each testing stage will progressively refine the guidelines to improve clarity, useability and relevance.
